The analysis was conducted by using Porto Garibaldi tide guage data, which is a mareographic station in a fixed location on the coast of Porto Garibaldi in the city of Ferrara. The sea surface salinity detection system of the Emilia-Romagna region consists of an integrated mareographic station, data storage and dissemination systems which provide data in 10-minute intervals. The calculation of this data has been done using Python 3, which allows the data to be filtered by the yearly 95% percentile sea surface salinity values between 2010-2022. Through the use of this method, the data is able to be analyzed as a timeseries.
